Daniel Krolikowski and Daniil Lukin

Silver Scholarship Award Recipients

Daniel Krolikowski (9th Grade) and Daniil Lukin (8th Grade) each received a $2,500 scholarship for their 2nd place finish in Meteorology at the National Science Olympiad competition. In honor of the 25th (Silver) Anniversary of the Science Olympiad National Tournament, the Science Olympiad Executive Board decided to give a special surprise award to two of the silver medal-winning teams at the 2009 National Tournament. All 23 regular events were included and one was drawn at random to receive the prize of $2,500 per team member at each of the Division B and C ceremonies - sometimes, it pays to be second! Congratulations to both competitors.
