Magnetic Levitation:
|
Students will build up to two self-propelled vehicles powered by electrical energy supplied by batteries. The energy supplied by the batteries will be used to turn a propeller(s) and move the vehicle down a magnetic track. Students will also answer questions about magnetism, magnets, and their uses. - Geologic Mapping:

Students will demonstrate understanding in the construction and use of topographic maps, geologic maps, and seismic reflection profiles and their use in forming interpretations regarding geohazard risk and subsurface structure. |

- Online scheduling for events that are designated as "Sign Up" on the State Schedule will be available from 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 26 until 8:00 PM Saturday, March 10. Any team that has not used the online scheduling form for events by 8:00 PM on March 10 will have to sign up for times at registration at Canisius on Friday, March 30.
